We have learned all about the major components of the makerspace. Now it's time to start pursuing our original projects. Students will start by creating questions around a topic that interests them and attempt to answer some of those questions through research. Once students have a good idea of what they want to explore, they will group together by category to try and form teams.

Students will attack some architectural challenges for the last piece of the Makerspace Bootcamp! Students will use Kapla planks to build out some great and challenging structures based on the basics of architecture.
Students moved into the circuit portion of the Makerspace Bootcamp today. Their objective is to learn some basic functions of a circuit (power, output, resistance, transistors, potentiometers, etc) and then create their own original circuit using the Circuit Scribe Maker Kits.
Not all students will utilize circuits in their projects, but a basic understanding of circuits can be extremely helpful in life! Students are learning how to program robotics as the next piece of the Makerspace Bootcamp. The objective is to make a robot perform a task autonomously. This could be making a shape, knocking down bowling pins, or something more complicated. Students are learning about:
Students are working on desiging remixed 3D prints. They will learn about the ins and outs of design and how to apply it to a real life 3D print.
